Today was a perfect day to enjoy a giant pan of paella with the good folks at Preston Farm & Winery. We made the paella over fire in a whaling pot with the same oak wood Preston uses to bake their famous wine country bread. Along with the paella we served a fresh vegetable gazpacho & a Spring salad using greens straight from the Preston farm. The paella was made with pork, chicken, chorizo, mussels, scallops, whole prawns & of course a hefty dose of Preston sauvignon blanc. To say the least this was one darn delicious paella.
